Life and Other Things

Bordeaux, France

Hello again! It’s been a minute. I won’t bore you with the details, but I will say it’s so nice to be back! I have decided to split my posts between food and travel on separate blogs. It was getting too difficult to manage a content calendar for this blog while knowing not everyone is super into a plant0based diet. I have been working on The Vegan Holiday, where I document food finds around the globe as well as share recipes. We have been working on Sunday Suppers and Holiday Stays as well, so life feels very full circle these days.

If you are looking for The Rich Hippies House, we have her her own page as well! See now? Everything in its place.

So, What’s been going on?

Venice Film Fest 2023

One of the main things that has been going on is I have been writing for other outlets, which of course makes less time to write for myself. I missed my own platform so much, I promised to dedicate time to it, no matter what.

The past year has been really fantastic for traveling around and writing about everything from vegan cheese in Amsterdam to a brilliant car museum in Monaco. I have fallen in love with sharing travel experiences with som many outlets.

Another big thing is that I am back in school for Philosophy and Ethics! I am really excited about this.

What to Expect Now

  • We still never, ever travel by plane. I almost had a heart attack on my last flight, so all our posts will be flight-free travel!

  • We have been museum-based worldschooling/homeschooling as we explore the world and re also trying out in-person schooling as our boy grows.

  • All the food stuff will be on TheVeganHoliday.com

  • All the travel stuff will be here!

If you don’t already, follow along on IG, I am @happilycuratedchaos and say “hi!”.

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT LANA

A little background was something I figured you all would want before I advise you on “good food”! I have been vegetarian for 35 years, and vegan for nearly 8 of them. I am a 100% non-waivering vegan. I don’t do cheats, I don't turn my head, and I am wildly upset when I find out something isn’t vegan that I was brought to believe was. I am committed to the point this is almost religious for me. I recently got my diploma in vegan nutrition and am working on becoming a vegan chef.

Need help transitioning to becoming vegan, making meal plans, or need a vegan kitchen reset? I offer a free 30 minute consultation.
